1. Warranty Coverage

Now EV provides a warranty for the installation of your electric vehicle (EV) charger, ensuring that all installation work is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from the installation date. Now EV must have been paid in full according to the signed quotation and issued invoice(s) to validate the warranty.

 

We can assist with EV charger-related faults, but only the manufacturer of the unit can remotely diagnose faults with the units, and only the manufacturer can issue repairs and replacements under a separate 3 or 5-year product warranty provided by them. Customers should contact the relevant manufacturers directly via the end-user support channels for assistance. Please feel free to ask us for help at this stage.

 

2. Scope of Warranty

This warranty covers:

• Proper functionality of the EV charger as installed - the unit always has a stable and safe 230v connection from the consumer unit.

• Adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance at the time of installation.

• Free rectification of any installation-related defects identified within the warranty period.

 

3. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, vandalism, or accidents.

• Issues arising from modifications or repairs not carried out by Now EV.

• Electrical supply issues outside the scope of the original installation. Such as over/under voltage from the supply or other faults in property affecting the supply to the charger.

• Environmental damage (e.g., flooding, lightning, or other natural disasters).

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain this warranty, the customer must:

• Ensure the EV charger is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Notify Now EV of any installation issues or concerns immediately.

• Allow access to the property for inspection or repair.

• Contact the EV charger manufacturer directly, who will diagnose issues related to the EV charger remotely and issue repairs and replacements

Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. Now EV will respond promptly and may require an inspection of the installation.

In the event of a claim, EV will have a reasonable time, not exceeding 14 days, to remedy the problem.

Replacement products, if required, will be new and of the same type, quality, and function as the originals unless otherwise mutually agreed. Now EV reserves the right to inspect the work in question and determine, in its sole discretion, whether the workmanship is defective.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

Under this warranty, Now EV’s total liability is limited to the repair of any installation-related defects up to the EV charger. Installation faults generally only consist of worn and faulty circuit breakers that require replacement. Now EV is not responsible for any consequential damages or losses arising from the use or unavailability of the EV charger.

 

7. Governing Law

There are no legal or industry requirements to offer this warranty, and we will always try our best to help our customers with any issues inside or outside of this warranty.

9. Non-Transferrable

This Warranty is non-transferable and shall be void if the ownership of the property on which the work was performed is transferred to another party prior to the expiration of the warranty period.

By signing one of our EV charger installation quotes, you acknowledge receipt of this warranty and agree to its terms.
