What are solar panels and how do they work?
The process of converting light or photons directly to electricity is called photovoltaic (PV). A solar panel absorbs photons from the light that has traveled 93 million miles from the sun, and this powerful solar energy knocks electrons loose from their atoms inside the solar panel. The electrons flow through the module to produce DC electricity which is then converted to AC electricity via a PV inverter, producing free green energy for your home and reducing electricity bills. Solar panels or photovoltaic modules group together to form a solar PV array, and add a solar battery for a solar PV storage system.
Solar PV Installation
Now EV is proud to be family run and completes every installation of solar panels in house. From the solar panel mounting equipment to the inverter wiring and online commissioning, every part of every installation is completed by trusted employees who are experts in their trade. This way we can maintain our 100% 5 star rating and avoid the downfalls of subcontracting that we see far too often.

Five Star Google and Trustpilot review:
"We chose Now EV because from the beginning Michael demonstrated a level of knowledge and competence that gave us the confidence that the work would be carried out to a high standard.
Michael was very good at explaining the technology, why certain options might work better for us and at the same time was accomdating where we had specific requirements or stipulations.
The installation itself was carried out in in a very efficient way with the minimum of fuss or disruption. The work area was left clean and tidy on completion."

Solar Panel Birdblocker
Every one of our on-roof installations comes with a Bird Blocker bird deterrent, a must-have for any solar power installation but too often left out as consumers are unaware of the problems nesting birds can cause to a solar PV system. The plastic mesh is made from 100% recycled plastic and is recyclable, clipping to the solar panel without damage, maintaining their warranty.
Why nesting birds are bad for your solar panel installation:
Damage to your solar panels
Increased bird droppings on the panels limiting performance
Limited ventilation under the solar panels
Risk of fire and reduced power output due to heat build up
