This huge project entailed the installation of twenty top-of-the-line Jinko Neo N-Type 430w all-black solar panels in Milton Keynes. Mounted with precision using Van der Valk solar panel mounting systems, the installation maximises energy capture and enhances the property's aesthetic appeal.
Optimising Performance
To mitigate the performance impact of shading from distant trees, we deployed Tigo solar panel optimisers on each home solar panel to ensure optimal energy production even in shaded areas, ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the day.
Powerful Hybrid Solution
At the heart of the system lies the SolaX 7.5kW hybrid inverter paired with a SolaX 17.4kWh battery storage system. This combination enables efficient energy conversion and provides reliable backup power during outages. Fire safety and heatproofing measures were implemented with a fireproof cement board, linked smoke alarms, and ventilation systems, ensuring the homeowners' safety and peace of mind.
Smart Energy Management
We incorporated the Myenergi Eddi immersion heaters and Zappi EV chargers to make the most of the surplus energy generated. These intelligent devices ensure that excess energy is utilised effectively, whether heating water or charging an electric vehicle. The Eddi system can even take advantage of cheaper off-peak electricity rates, further optimising energy usage and cost savings.
Seamless Integration
The SolaX Matebox advanced auto-changeover switch installation provides whole-house backup and emergency power supply capability. In the event of a power outage, this system automatically switches to the massive battery and solar PV system, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply for essential household appliances.
